First Impression

A wow treasure has serviced customers for over 10 years. They are in fact currently celebrating their 10th anniversary as of 2008. They currently offer primarily gold for a number of games including World of Warcraft. They are one of the few sites that will actually let you post testimonials and comments about their services. We found their site to be relatively responsive and fast. We felt after 10 years of being online though they might want to think about a revamp. If it is not broke though I suppose don’t fix it. They currently offer forums on the site so if your hesitant before purchasing gold maybe you should chat it up with some of Wow treasures members and find out the real deal. All in all our first impressions were good and the site looked like a legitimate seller.

Deals / promotions

You will notice if you are new customer a timer in the right hand side of the screen. They actually offer you 15% off for your first order with Wow treasures. We thought this was a great promotion and wished other sites would follow in this path for new customers. We decided to check out the prices to see how badly we might need this discount. We went ahead and found prices for stormreaver server to be a lot higher then we were use to. They charged about 11.69 for 500 gold and with the discount we would only be slightly under 10.00 industry average. We felt even with the promotion the prices were a little too high with some of the other trust worthy sites out there. We decided to give wow treasure a chance and see if they offered good service and fast delivery.

Purchase

We went and made our purchase for 500 gold on the horde stormreaver server at the price of 9.96 (with the 15% discount). Our Pay Pal transaction went through smoothly and our e-mail received our confirmation receipt within a few minutes. We contacted Wowtreasures customer service chat to see how long we should expect to wait for our order. After waiting several minutes they told us we should expect to receive our order with 24 hours. We stayed logged on for about 3 hours and then logged off, as we couldn’t afford to sit and wait for a Wowtreasure’s agent any longer. We received e-mail several hours later from Wowtreasure requesting that we log on so the transaction could be completed. We contacted the online customer chat again and informed them we were ready for the transfer. Within about 10 minutes from contacting the customer service rep we did receive our gold through a face-to-face transfer. We did receive our entire 500 gold from wowtreasures and within 24 hours. We did not feel the service and speed as well as price was enough to truly benchmark a company who had been doing this for 10 years. We felt a company with as much experience as wowtreasures, should be a little quicker and offer some better prices. We did however enjoy using the coupon discount as it did make our price slightly cheaper than most sites on the market for World of Warcraft gold. We can recommend Wow treasures as a legitimate company, probably not your choice though if you are looking for the fastest and cheapest deliveries possible.

 Overall

Overall we felt wowtreasure left a lot to be desired from an online MMO currency retailer. They did however honor their 15% discount and also provided adequate customer service. We felt the delivery time could have been much shorter for the price paid. We also felt the site could use a little work and some more information could be provided on wowtreasure’s homepage. We really cannot hate on them though as they did provide us our gold within the time frame promised at a discounted rate then they normally give. You can trust Wowtreasures for your gold purchases but we do suggest checking out some of our other reviews for better promotions and faster delivery times.
