First Impressions

Wowthesale has been in business now for 6 years and currently offer some of the lowest prices for WOW gold and Power leveling. We first bring up wowthesale’s website and are welcomed by their dark colored site. The site layout is standard with your purchase types at top (Power leveling) (Account) (CD-Keys) and you can locate your games on the left site bar. We tested out their online customer service chat and had a reprehensive talking with us in under a minute. They were able to help us with most of our questions. We personally feel they could use a different color layout, as some words seemed hard to read. We also found it difficult to find any real information about them or their policies. The site layout was good for the most part except for the color and lack of information. We did however find a service on their site that was unique. The fact that they do offer gold selling on their site as well as account selling. So if you have some unwanted account or gold lying around you can dump it off here for some real cash.

Deals / Prices

We were unable to locate and information on the site about current promotions. We decided to check out their pricing on gold. We found their prices to be above average and so far were not very impressed. We found other sites that charged less and even offered promotional deals. For a company who has been in business as long as wowthesale we expected more. Their price for 500 gold was 12.46 and the price for 50,000 gold was 1021.21. We were surprised however to see them offering such a high quantity of gold. This could be due to the fact that they also purchase gold from any customer who is willing to sell it. We were not very intrigued by their prices but decided to take a trial and see how long it would take us to get our order processed.

Purchase

We went ahead and purchased 500 gold at the price of 12.46 on the Stormreaver realm. We contacted customer service and asked them how long it generally takes to receive our gold delivery. They responded telling us it depends on the gold availability on the server but normally never anything past 24 hours. With this in mind we thought we might be waiting a while, we actually did receive our gold though within an hour and half. At least we proved that we could make a purchase from the site. With the lack of information and the difficult to read words we were starting to get a little hesitant. The purchase went through, as intended and customer service was able to answer and help us out with little to no wait time.

Overall

We found Wowthesale a pretty good site. We think they could use a color change for the site to make it easier for its customer to read and maybe an easier way to navigate to some company policies and delivery time. They did however offer a sell gold / account option which was unique from other sites we have seen. We are curious to hear from anyone who has tried this option out on his or her site. We would probally be geared to purchase from a more trusted and cheaper competitor. Regardless if you wish to order from wowthesale they did deliver and they are legitimate.
