First Impression

Oofay has been in business nearly 9 years. Their site is laid out pretty decently with power leveling, gold currency, CD-keys, account located at top and the different games they offer the services to the left. Offay offers online chat service 24/7 and an online phone service. Both the chat and the online service we very easy to reach during our endeavors. They offered power leveling and gold selling as well as CD-keys. The overall site response was quite quick and nicely laid out.

Deals and Promotions

They currently were not offering any big deals or promotions except for the generic power leveling packages which were priced moderately high. We found the standard gold price to be high starting at 10.04 for 500 gold compared to most industry competitors at 9.99. They also offered 24 hours delivery time but had a disclaimer saying it could take 48 hours. So far we had no real incentive to purchase, but for review’s sakes we went through with it.

Purchase

We decided to purchase the 500 gold for 10.04. The transaction went smoothly and we received our e-mail confirmation receipt within a few minutes. In about 4 hours we received an in game mail with 200 gold. Instantly we went to the site and used the 24 hour customer service line. The woman on the phone told us to hold on for a moment. 10 minutes later she came back and said they apologize and will send the rest of the gold within the next 3 hours. We checked in the next day and still no gold. We contacted their live chat and the woman told us that we had already received the gold. We were very disappointed in their actions and lack of customer service. We pursued the rest of the gold through e-mails and online chat and eventually were ignored completely. I suppose they felt 300 gold was more valuable than a new potential customer.

Overall

We felt Offay most likely was a legitimate business. The site was up to par with its competitors and most the site functions were in compliance with the rest of the industry. We do however feel they have horrible customer service and are not adequate in handling processing errors. Most companies would generally give the 300 gold as credit in attempts to just save the new customer. They offered no answer to our question except literally arguing that we did receive the gold, when in fact we had not at all. Unfortunately we cannot recommend Offay due to its flimsy policies and lackluster customer service. Click here to check out Oofay's site!
